An apple a day

I was thinking of something cute that Madisen could do for her teacher on the first day of kindergarten and came across this idea: Cupcakes that look like apples. How perfect!! Good luck to my big girl and everyone else that is starting kindergarten at Deerfield Elementary tomorrow!!

Toy Story

These were made for Madisen's LAST DAY OF DAY CARE! Wow the time has flown by... I know it's hard to tell, but the liners were Toy Story. Madisen is obsessed with Toy Story right now.

Candy Land for my Girl!

One of my daughter's favorite games to play is Candy Land. So while we played it one day a while ago, I asked her if she wanted a Candy Land cake for her fifth birthday...
Obviously, candy plus cake equals one happy girl!

All of the characters are there...

Princess Frostine

Lord Licorice

King Candy

Happy Birthday to my "Monkey" Madisen, you sure are a pistol, but at the end of the day you make us very proud!!

Happy Birthday to my Nephew!

Yay! Stephen is 4, and loves Cars!!

For my nephew's birthday, I made him a simple "Cars" themed cake. I made the racing flag side out of fondant that I dyed black and cut out using a square cutter. The stop light is also made out of fondant. I have to thank Stephen for letting me use his cars to decorate the cake!
